Peg Perego Tender Twin Stroller - Crystal on sale

I bought this stroller when I was expecting our third child. Number two and three are about two years apart, so we felt we needed a double stroller. I had used a Perego Venezia with the first two and loved the quality. Perego was the way to go for me. I have found the stroller to be good looking, lightweight, and very easy to steer. I get compliments on it regularly while out with the kids. I love that the baby can be completely covered when in his carseat (that attaches to the stroller's back seat), and my older son loves the room he has in the front seat. You cannot recline the front seat when the infant seat is in the back, but that has never been a problem for us. There is not a whole lot of storage room below, but my diaper back is backpack style, so I don't have trouble with that either. There is, however, plenty of room for an extra diaper and wipes (necessities). I usually don't even carry the diaper bag, unless we are out for a long outing. I just tuck the baby's bottle in his carseat with him and a burp cloth, and we're good to go. The only thing I have noticed is that things seem to break off pretty easily. For instance, when the stroller arrived, the hoods were crooked. I thought it was probably a shipping issue. Then, one of the handle height adjusters fell off. We've had a few of these issues arise, and Perego has sent us new replacements free of charge. I still think compared to what else is out there, Perego is still made better than the other double strollers on the market. And it is definitely one of the best looking and lightest weight ones you could find. I would recommend this stroller.

great for carseat and toddler, poor storage - B. Seeman -
We used this stroller when our second was born and was still in the Peg Perego infant carrier. It's great for the mall and easy to maneuver. The fact that it is tandem is the biggest selling feature for me; considering how long it is, it's actually quite easy to navigate. The seats are very roomy and the seat backs recline nicely. The sun canopies are terrific and were nice to cover the baby completely when he was sleeping. My only 2 complaints are: 1) that the storage baskets under each seat aren't very useful, maybe just for some diapers and wipes and a blanket and 2) it takes a bit of practice closing; when I first tried to do it, it would just pop open, but now that I have a good feel for it, it's rather simple (the storage thing really isn't a huge problem for me since I just hang my diaper bag over the handle). We've had multiple Peg Perego products and have found the quality to be excellent and I hope they continue to manufacture their products in Italy. I think this stroller is light considering how much it holds (our oldest is about 40 lbs. and the baby is about 25 lbs.). We ahve an SUV so it fits fine in the trunk, but I don't know taht it would fit so easily in a regular car; it does store upright, so a mini-van would be fine.

Hard to Handle - M. Orgil -
I bought this stroller a while ago and was pretty happy with it when the kids were small (my kids are 16 months apart). As they got older though the stroller got much harder to manuever and is slowly falling apart. For some reason it does not want to go straight. The storage area underneath is too small. My kids really enjoy it because the seats are big and comfortable. I also liked the fact that the back foot pad goes up and locks to create a "bassinet" so that the baby cannot fall out. However, its tough to recline the front seat too far if you have a kid in the back. The stroller also weighs a lot. I used to enjoy this stroller but now I try to avoid it.
