Sports Theme Serving Trays? What a Fan-tastic Idea

Once you have picked your food line up for the game picking what to serve it on is the next step. Don't think that this step - or using any trays is not important. Go ahead serve those baked beans, dips and salsa on paper plates. One spill in on the floor and I will bet your toast when your spouse gets home. If that doesn't motivate you think of this. A big plate of salsa and chips gets soggy and slides onto your remote control and fries it, and not on the game channel!

Trays and platters are for the bulky foods. Trays tend to be shallower working well with foods like hot dogs, hamburgers and BBQ. These foods don't drip or slide so a deeper serving choice is not essential. A platter being slighty deeper than a tray works well with foods like veggies, and other bulk foods. Hybrids may also be found for the in between foods that might need a dip or spread. This can be brought right to the game. Individual servings can then be put into bowls by the guests.

How much fun can it be to serve up your food from a platter right into your very own personal bowl? Everybody gets what they want, when they want it in a manageable portion. Face it your party fans are going to jump up and down. A lot. How about a baseball mitt shaped bowl, a football bowl or a football field tray? How cool is that?

We haven't forgotten about the race or NASCAR fans! Checkered flag serving trays will put you in the lead and pull out a win at your race theme party. While you are at it add some race party picks to your "mixed beverage". What the heck, why not go all out for the checkered flag with themed race party supplies. Top it off with a checkered flag baseball cap.

There you have it. Add these serving ideas to the rest of your sports party and you will certainly start your own fan following. All you need now is the win!
